35PKW slider question

Just install a set of 35pwk. This carburator can run with stock cable? Curently, carburator have little opening and at WOT, slider don't open at 100%. I try to ajust the cable from the top of carburator without succes. Any idea?

 

Oh, and it's normal the clearance between the carburator and clutch pivot is very tight?

Get a taller ajuster for the top of your carbs so you can get full ajust ment. I have dual 35 PWK carbs and that is what I did. If you have a T.O.R.S elem kit. The ajusters on top of the caps are biger and will work for geting full ajustment. Yes my cluch arm is super close to my carb aswell.

 

You can get the ajusters from Jeff at Fast racing. Get the easey spring aswell if you get them from Jeff. Their supper nice on your thumb.

Also make sure the limiter adjustment screw at the thumb throttle isnt limiting

your throttle. Just a heads up. Thats what happed to me. ::

Only carbs that will work with a stock cable are the stock carbs because of the tors boxes. If the carb does not open 100%, and you have all the adjusters maxed out, then you need a different cable.

A stock cable that is meant for the stock TORS system will be too long for aftermarket carbs.

You need a throttle cable that is meant for the bike with the TORS removed....
