jet mech
I have a VP dealer in town and he is trying to get me to run C12 it is a 108 (motor Octain?) leaded fuel. What do you guys think? I am running a stock '06 SE shee. I hope to see some of you at the '07 national BHQ ride out at Little Sahara 03/29/07- 04/01/07 if you don't know about it look at the ride forum it is gonna be sweet
dajogejr
If you are running a stock shee, as in stock compression, stock timing, you are 100% wasting your money on race/high octane fuel, and may actually be hurting performance. Straight old out of the pump premium is more than fine for a bone stock motor...even one with a slight bump in compression and timing advance. More octane burns slower, so the motor does not pre-ignite...a stock or near stock motor is not even close to that unless the jetting is way lean...and even so higher octane won't solve that. Hope this helps.

Cause you got timing and a shit load shaved off your motor... This user said stock...and that is him just wasting money on that bike, I feel!!! Rock-46
VP is good fuel. But I agree its a waste of $$ on a stock motor.
