mxturd Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 I went riding yesterday and when I was washing my bike I noticed alot of black stuff where the stinger tube meets the silencer. I was wondering if I can just remove the stinger tube and put some high temp silicone in there or is there a gasket that is in there....Any help would be appreciated Thanks Doug Quote

werner Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 cascade clamps are for the head pipe to the stinger. you want the stinger to silencer so there is no clamp to use but there should be an o-ring in the back end of the silencer to seal up to the stinger. maybe go to cpi webpage and fine replacement or try the high temp stuff and see if it works. :ninja: Quote
