I got to ride my new shee yesterday a lil and I noticed I really dont like how the stock clutch lever is. Its too big and sits too far from the grip. I was thinking about getting an aftermarket clutch lever/perch assembly. My cousin has one of the MSR raptor levers on his and I like it. But I was just wondering if any of them are made to leave the parking brake setup on it? I ride alot of trails and stuff and sometimes have to stop on hill and park and its nice to have that parking brake on there. So does anyone know? :ermm:

i have one of those levers. there isnt a parking brake on it.

personally my brake never held my bike worth a shit. usually put it in gear adn turn the wheels or put something under a tire.

Parking brakes are more trouble than they're worth. You have to adjust them almost every time you go out, and even then they're prone to trouble. That's why most people get a block off plate first thing. You won't have issues with your bike rolling away if you pay a little attention when you stop it. All else fails, just drag one end so it sits more sideways on the hill.

I removed the the e brake also and ride the same terrains as everyone in here. dirt, gravel, sand etc.... You don't nee the e brake. It's how you drive it, park it in a position where it won't roll off and in a position where you can jump on it & go.

Alright, thanks alot guys. I got to thinking about it today, and you guys are right. I think i'm just gonna leave the block off plate on there and get another clutch lever(this stock one sucks..imo). Anyways, Thanks alot!
