I am selling my Toomey T-6s (PM me if your interested in them) Because every body (on here anyway) Is telling me that I need to get diffrent pipes. Well i wanna go with Inframe drag pipes and I am thinking cpi because they seem to be a good pipe and they seem to be fairley reasonable price. Can you guys give a lil input as to what you think. Also if you have any for sale let me know.

The reason I have not been on here in a while is because about a month ago I had my clutch go out on me. well it did not really go out on me it still moved but all the sudden I had oil comming out of my pipe (right side) and it started running like total shit so we took off the clutch cover and there was pieces of clutch all over the place and there it was a piece had got in my crankseal bearing and tore it all to hell. So I just let the mother sit in the garage the last nmonth cause i have been broke ne way. Until i went riding with my uncle this weekend and I seen 3 banshees that were just waxing some ass and it got the blood running again. So I am on a mission now this is what I plan on doing to it so far Take a look at the mods that I have now and tell me what you think.

First he will have to fix the crank seal bearing of course then I am going to have a full drag port put on it ,as well as either 33mm or 35mm carbs perfer PWK's (unless somebody else has another suggestion) Inframe drag pipes Barnett clutch basket and barnett clutchs. (Let me know tif this is not enought clutch because I do not want to be doing this crap again because of a clutch breaking)

Ok I appericate any and all help sorry so long just getting exited again

Head shaved 60 or 80 and cylinder shaved 80? Are you sure your port timing isn't way out of whack or squish or compression???

If you're gonna go full drag, get Shearers......

CPI makes a good pipe. The Shearers make more power up top....

Also...fuel that beast... Get at least 35mm carbs...and if you're stuck on drag porting, get 39s...

Call Jeff @ FAST for the clutch setup. His off brand basket (Magnum I think) street bike clutch setup are still working just fine for my cub, I've to over 100 passes at the sand drags, not a single clutch issue....

It really depends on your budget...it could go on and on...and usually does.

You could get into a dunable override tranny, lockup clutch...etc...

No prob....

I bought my whole cub motor from Jeff, a chain, crank, bearings, it was a BIG, BIG bill. So, I don't know if it was a deal price, buddy price, or his everyday price....that being said, I don't like to give out prices for other people unless they advertise them. That's only fair....

That being said...call him on it.

Yes, if you plan on trail riding, do NOT go full drag porting....you'll be sorry. (and...don't build a cub...lol)

I don't know how much porting the T6's like, but...I've read, just as everyone has, they don't like a LOT of porting.

If you want to woods ride, stay away from CPI, Shearer, Rockets or other top end orientated pipes.

T5s work very well with porting, and I've been hearing more and more the Trinity pipes are pretty good too. Those pipes pull pretty well, but...they're not all on top like the drag pipes above are....

Depending on your porting...I'd say 33s or 35s. It's a trade off, little more top end/less low end with 35's, and the opposite with the 33s. It'd be a very little difference, though...

There's already a good article on squish...rough numbers, what it should be at, etc...

It's basically how close your piston is to the head at TDC.

Here's that write up.

Kick ass man thanks for the advise but I dont ride woods all the time i ride probably 30 percent woods so not a whole lot i just wanna be real fast too thats why I wanted to get something better than the T-5's Cause I also wanna be fast at the dunes too. I Dunno man What would you do exactly. I sure would like to know.

Call Jeff and ask him....

I don't know your budget...so, it's hard to say where to spend the money. Don't forget...as you mentioned, you can still get good money for your T6 pipes, that will offset the cost.

You can also get a few bucks for your stock carbs....

We all wanna go really fast for the least amount money...:)

I'd go for a dune port. Thats what I have with the addition of a 4mill stroker crank.

You said only 30% woods riding so I take it you wont be doing anything technical.

Jeff also did my engine and I am very happy with it, so far.
