moneybags Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 OK guy's on Tuesday I orderd some new toomey T 5 pipes and Vforce reed for my shee. I am curenly have a K&N X-stream power lid and a uni two stage airfilter and running a 240 main jet. At elevation from 0 to 2500 feet and tempitures of 75 to 85. I would like to put the new jets in befor my pipes and Vforce arive so I can go riden that mutch faster This will be my setup that I plan to jet for Toomey T 5 pipes V-force delta 3 reed block K&N X-strean power lid UNI two stage airfilter 75 to 85 temp 0 to 2500 feet elevation where do you guy's think that I should starte with my jets????? I am sure that you guy's can understand my wanting to get out ridding as fast as posible once my pipes and reeds get hear. I plan to do a plug chop as soon as I get back from riden. dajogejr Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Put 280 mains in....with that airbox and power lid. You'll probably be rich once you start getting above 1500 feet or so...though. Usually....a main jet is good for 1000 feet, give or take. 2500 feet is quite a gap....but, there's really not much you could do. Unless you wanted to put your lid on of low elevation riding, then remove it for higher elevation riding.... If it feels boggy 1/4 to 3/4 throttle, you'll need to lean out the needle one clip. With VForce, sometimes you do, sometimes you don't.... If it does feel boggy, just move the needle clip up one towards the blunt end...that should clean it up. Quote
