dlow Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 ok where are the best places to get the kit, and how hard is it to install? whats the "gist" of the install? Quote
MinEsFasteR79 Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I got mine from a guy on ebay. just type in banshee in the atv parts and accessories and then click on intake and fuel. and theres a few places. I bid on one and didn't want to wait for the auction to end so I talked to the guy and he said 65 dollars. and I got everything. its not hard. as long as you know how to drill a hole and tap it. thats pretty much it. and then putting in a new throttle cable. haven't gotten to that yet. waiting on my jet kit. but taking it apart wasn't hard and looks pretty simple. I hope this helps you out. -Christian Quote
dajogejr Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Dlow... You can also check out Magic Racing or Vito's performance. You'll need: new carb caps New cable Brass idle screws Drill and tap. Some advice for ya: COMPLETELY dissasemble each carb, one at a time. Place a piece of wood in the carb when you're drilling it...so when you bust through you don't knick the other side of the throat. Use a lot of WD40, PB Blaster or other light oil when running the tap, 1/2 turn in, 1/4 turn out. Aluminium cuts pretty easy. When done, clean the piss out of the carbs, make sure you get all the metal shavings. One little bit can cause the carb to stick wide open...'nuff said. This kit has everything you need. http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/...11&cat=0&page=1 As does this, same price: http://www.magicracing.com/TORS-Eliminatio...ee_p_0-731.html Quote
