knoxvillebanshee Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 I have a 95 with 30mm cpw carbs (kien knock offs), bored .80 over. NOSS cool heads w/21 cc domes. FMF SST pipes and turbine 2 silencers. K&N cone filters connected directly to carbs. Running 93 octane and 36:1 motule 800. Temp 80 - 90 degrees. I live in Knoxville, so not too much altitude - maybe 750 ft. I ran the bike at half and full throttle w/ 55 and 155 jets. The plug was light grey/ ashy color and the bike surged alot. Also, it started dying like it was running out of gas at low rpm. I just put in a 162 main last night. What clip should I set the needle at? Is this main too rich? What else should I know? Quote
