99 banshee airflow and carb problems?

i have a 99 banshee and everytime i get it wet it starts to overrev. The throttle starts to stick and it revs out of control, even when i pull on the clutch it revs wayyyyy too high. is there any way to fix this, i cant even figure out what the problem is ive adjusted the carbs a hundred times with no effect. I love going through mud and water on my quad but as of late im afraid to. Please help!!

What kind of filter are you using? Do you still use an airbox? Lid?

i run a pro designs filter and yes i do have a lid on the airbox

and i still do use an airbox...

Do you still have your stock T.O.R.S.? Are you sure your throttle is sticking? Remove your air filter and look into your carbs. Move your throttle and see if the slides are sticking.

for some reason, the tors freak out when wet. even simply washing your bike will cause this...

so should i remove the tors system will this help to solve my problem?

i wash the shit out of my shee and its equipped with tors. ive never had a problem with it freaking out, and i spray degreaser and water all up in that shit.
