bigscary Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 i've seen this one before, it's out on the market. Try lifting the rear, it's friggin heavy.. I mean really heavy. I think it would just sink into sand if you tried to hook up. It's a rock crawler but then again why would you want that from a quad. Just get a jeep. wow......your smart........ So a raptor 700 must be rock crawler as well? they weight within 2lbs of each other!!!!!!! :: Quote
G-MC Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I had high hopes when I heard KTM was getting into ATV's...Then I found out it was with Polaris. I sat and cried like a 5 year old that just shit his pants on the playground. KTM, in my eyes, makes some of the best shit out there...On the other side I would push my Shee before I rode a Polaris. Not to go on a rant here, but I work on occasion at a cycle shop, and we will not take a Polaris in as a trade in. This is just my opinion...I could be wrong. Quote

How in the fuck would you know what it feels like to pick up a outlaw 525 when they aren't even out yet? answer: YOU DON'T you are just running your mouth about something you know nothing about...... helldriver Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 (edited) yes, the rappy 700 is about the same weight, bUT it has alot to do with WHERE the weight is too and being it utilizes a modded predaturd frame, that is not that light or great to begin with, all the weight is in all the wrong places, {kinda like some of the women ive dated } while the rappy 700 is a totaLLY REDISIGNED BIKE, AND is almost on par with the YFZ in handling im willing to bet the outlaw 525 isnt much better from the old outlaw,, it just has a better engine, too good of a engine for that thing i my opinon at the very least polarASS could have done was make it new from the ground up, instaed of using shit that didnt work all that great to begin with Edited September 18, 2006 by helldriver Quote

I thought that was the one you were talking about saying it was heavy.....because the 525 is not heavy....... I appologize...... BTW.....are you certain that you saw a 525? on my dealer website it shows that they won't be available until 01-2007 not to mention it says They will be available spring 07 on the public website as well...... http://www.polarisindustries.com/en-us/ATV...ance/Outlaw525/ yes, the rappy 700 is about the same weight, bUT it has alot to do with WHERE the weight is too and being it utilizes a modded predaturd frame, that is not that light or great to begin with, all the weight is in all the wrong places, {kinda like some of the women ive dated } while the rappy 700 is a totaLLY REDISIGNED BIKE, AND is almost on par with the YFZ in handling im willing to bet the outlaw 525 isnt much better from the old outlaw,, it just has a better engine, too good of a engine for that thing i my opinon at the very least polarASS could have done was make it new from the ground up, instaed of using shit that didnt work all that great to begin with I agree...... I wish they would have used this motor in a new from the ground up MX bike........ or atleast something designed for MX...... I don't understand thier thinking........but if you were polaris would you have hesitated in slapping one of the most powerful 4 stroke motors produced (in that size range) atleast for now.... at the dealer show Polaris said they were going in another direction...... They know they can't compete in the MX market.....they designed the outlaw to be a trail quad.... Edited September 18, 2006 by bigscary Quote
