Anyone know where I can get a motofast 2-1 or a dynoport 2-1 pipe?

 

I would really like to go to an all bottom-mid mod setup... I have all the other mods done.. now need the pipe.

 

Trinity MX/TT port job (I wanted a little top end left), Trinity 2-1 carb kit....

 

Now I need a nice 2-1 pipe.

 

Anyone have any opinion on either one of them, or where I can get either one of them?

Ive seen them go real cheap on ebay and keep a check onthe classifieds here and planet sand,But ive heard alot of peple say that the fmf gnarlys work better with porting.

The motofast is the better pipe. Dynoport is a copy that is hand made (which makes a diff between each pipe and imperfections inside). The motofast pipe was stamped. There is a motofast on ebay right now... but its just the pipe, it looks rough and it has been crome plated (which is rusting now). With the setup you have you should look into another pipe as the porting does hurt the 2into1.

I'll keep doing some research... maybe I'll end up with gnarly's when it's all said and done.

 

I know there are other "woods" pipes out there too, but since I've put my PC's on, I've been so happy with them, I never felt the need to look elsewhere, and consequently ended up not knowing a whole lot about which pipe is better for where I want the power to be.

Ive heard a lot of people running pcs that are real happy with them.The gnarlys will defintly come on earlier and fall of earlier and this might be what your looking for on a tight mx track but you might do better with what you have in normal conditions but its really all up to you,but ive heard that pcs are a real good all around pipe.I considered mx with my banshee but havent tried it yet kinda just fell in the drag stuff but i have mxed with 2wheelers all my life and on any 2stroke you should not be in the lowend that much if your ridding fast.Are you running a coolhead of any type ifso ive found that bumping the compression will help the lowend alot.Im not tring to talk you out of the lowend pipes its just hard for me to imagine a banshee with a weak topend.
