racer Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 a little black box under the front of the seat on the shift side of the bike, has a 3 wire harness. unplug it. Quote
pipebomb Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 there are 5 plug you need to dis-connect. 1 at the TORS itself(the little 1x1x1 black box by the coil) 2 at the carb caps( one on each one) 1 from the throttle housing & 1 at the clutch perch (just follow the wires down from them to the connectors) then just tape all the connectors up real good til either you decide to get the eliminator kit and chop out the extra wires OR just leave them that way like I did. I also packed the connectors w/ dilectric grease before I taped them up to keep them from corrodeing should I ever need to reconnect them(not likely, but ya never know) Quote

pipebomb Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 nope, just put a 2 into 1 setup on the blue one in my sig and tool out the p-brake crap at the same time and some missed un-hooking the connector for the P-brake switch. took me a week of on-off work checking/ tuning/cleaning/reconnecting everything and of swapping back and forth the stock intake and the 2 into 1 before I noticed the one plug still hooked up. DOH!!!!! Quote
