Hollister_Hitman Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 (edited) I have every thing apart after a lot of pounding everthing with a BMF hammer and some PB penetrater and a crow bar for the outerpart of the bearings. Now I am just waiting for replacement parts. Every part of replacing axle bearings is a bitch...first it was the axle nuts, then the inner part of the bearings, then the outer part of the bearings. I hope the installation goes a lot smoother Edited May 23, 2006 by Hollister_Hitman Quote
woodro77 Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 heat up the axle nuts with a torch and they will come off, then take carrrier apart, i cant see getting a rock in there , probably a bad bearing Quote

The seal on the sprocket side is damaged so I am guessing dirt or water ruined my bearings. Thanks for the suggestions. I will knock the axle off tommorow. Quote
