01orangeshee Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 my banshee was stolen & i ended up finding wher eit went & made sure the people found out i knew & they droped it off at night....they cut my key switch,broke my on-off switch. they stole it on a 3 min.fresh rebuild..never even ridden & they blew it up because they didnt know it was just rebuilt.well to make a long story short i just rebuilt it again & i dont have any spark....anybody have any suggestions?? pipebomb Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 try a fresh set of plugs first to make sure the ones you got aren't bad if you haven't already, then start testing the electrical stuff backwards from there. plug wires, ignition coil, CDI, switches, wires, etc. look of broken wires, loose connectors and so on. might be something as simple as a connector came off as you reassembled everything. you didn't say if ya still got the TORS still on, so if ya do, check all that stuff too cause if a part of that went bad that will kill the electrical system on ya too, like it was designed to. 01orangeshee Posted April 30, 2006 Author Report Posted April 30, 2006 no tors system is unpluged...but just thinking to myself here racking my brain off i remember the stator cover was off & it might be rusted in there.im gonna check in the mourning. but there was a wiring cut at the cdi but i spliced it all back in..now a question about the key switch???if it's unpluged is it bypassed.but plugs are brand new.... if i dont find nothing. i want to buy a harness with cdi,coil & all. because this looks like shit because they tried painting the frame & painted over everything.at least they took the plastic off i guess..& lost all my bolts.
