Trying to set up shee?

I have an `00 shee that I would like to set up for the trails and a little woods riding. Riding between 1300 and 1700 feet. Thought about FMF gnarly pipes, fmf silencers, V-force 3s, and jetting. My shee has stock carbs, on a budget so new carbs are out of the Q. Motor is being built now no porting stock head need to be reliable. Need some feed back on combo and a starting point for jetting.

Airbox plays the role here.

Stock airbox, stock filter, stock lid, with or without snorkle?

 

What type of air instake do you plan on running...?

Would like to use stock airbox and get rid of that shitty factory filter setup. Is there a filter setup using a K&N filter that bolts or screws to the airbox it self? If there is thats what I'll run! If not i'll run an airbox eliminator k&n setup.

Pro Design and a few other companies make a plate that bolts to the front of the air box, using a K&N filter. The Pro Design is kind of pricey, but it's cheaper than a new top end. I used to have a very similar set up on my Shee, that you have, and I was using a 320 main with the K&N. My elevation is 1550, what is yours? It will affect your jetting.

Thanks guys on the comments, has anyone run the gnarly pipes before? I will be doing more trail and woods riding than anything else, fmf claims (for the woods pilot)? Jetting Okay 320 main jetting good starting point what about pilot jetting or will I be okay with stock?

Stock pilots should be fine...with an airbox.

FMFs...however, sometimes like a fatter pilot.

 

If you turn out your airscrew less than 1/2 turn...time for a bigger pilot...

One more q? where should i put the needle, not even sure if you can move stock needles?

Drop the clip on the needle down to the fourth notch from the blunt end, if it isn't already there. If you still have the stock pilot, you might want to get a 27.5 or even a 30. FMF's tend to want more fuel down low, and in the mid-range, or mine did, but I also had Fatties.
