Banshee_Guy Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 Im installing an after market crank in my shee for the second time. I installed an H129 4mm stroker 5mm long rod. The stock crank has pins to stop it from spinning, but the aftermarket crank only has o-rings which are not working out! Ive noticed one o-ring broke and noticed some spinning! Has anyone figured out a way to install pins or have any suggestions? Thanks! Quote
PassionRE Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 (edited) Replace the o-rings with Viton O-rings(they WILL stretch over the webs). They shouldn't spin if your cases are in decent shape. If the Case journals are a little worn, plaed a few drops of red Loc-tite on both case halves(on bearing journals) before installing....Jim Edited April 10, 2006 by PassionRE Quote
