Samdogmx Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 Ok heres the story I bought this Shee used, has a 409 LA sleeve big bore kit, mild porting, FMF Fattys, coolhead 22cc domes. toommey 2 into 1 K&N no airbox. But stock carbs. I just bake from riding it for the first time, & I dont think it has the topend that I was expecting from a big bore. It pulls strong off idle, but I was expecting a lil more on top. Maybe its just me wanting too much. I was riding by myself so I dont have anything to compare it too. Im gona try to go to St Joes, next weekend & race agianst some other banshee's & see how it compares, but I expected more of a topend pull. BTW i dont know what the jetting is at right now, but i will pull the carbs off tonight & see. It felt good as far as no bogging or dead stops. Would some PWK 35s bring this thing to life? Quote
