ATB Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Did your axle nuts come lose and let it move? Quote
Wallrat Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I'll have a better idea after today when I pull out my stock axle. But my guess is you trashed the bearings, then the slop allowed the sprocket hub to rub the swingarm. Quote
icecold_shee Posted March 17, 2006 Author Report Posted March 17, 2006 k, thats what i kinda thought, i have a friend that is comin over to help me out with it then ill know more bout it and let yall know Quote

icecold_shee Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 yeah, the bearing were destroyed, and all the balls put it in a bind, i just had to pull the lil balls out one at a time till i got em all out, then it slid out fine Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Thanks, I tried to hit the axle out using a piece of pipe over the hub with a sledge hammer but no success. I will do what you said. What year is your bike and did you ever service the bearings? I have an 01' and I never serviced them. Thanks for the help. Weird we had the exact same problem Quote
icecold_shee Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 its a 2000 and that was the first time theyve been dug into Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I have picked about 5 ball bearings out and have been hitting it with a B.M.F hammer like it says in clymers. I am almost there. What did you do about the big outside bearings? Quote
