jmoore Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Well, I am putting everything back together after removing the tors. I had a shop do the drilling for the new idle screws and they also cleaned the carbs. Right now I am bogging off the line and my right carb is leaking gas like a mofo out the bottom drain hose. I am going to try messing with the needle tomorrow for the bogging but what are some reasons why the one carb would leak so much. After the initial trial run and having the gas leak. I took apart the one carb and it seemed ok. I ran it again and it did not leak this time till I shut her off and then it started leaking again when not running.? Got any ideas? Quote
sheefreak Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Need to adjust your float height. Definately why it is leaking. Quote
jmoore Posted March 12, 2006 Author Report Posted March 12, 2006 Ok, I will look into that... thanks! Quote
sheefreak Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Even if it is not to exact measurement, just make sure when you hold the carb right side up w/the bowl off, your stopper seats w/o bottoming the float bowl.(if that makes sense to ya, hard to explain. Quote
