fastbanshee8 Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Take out the pilot jets, and clean them very good. Sounds like you may have some varnish, or dirt in them. It might be best, to let them soak in carb cleaner for a couple of hours, and then blow them out with air, before installing them. Quote
J-Madd Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 First unplug the TORS and check the choke tube. Also, maybe its bad/old gas. Any mods? This info will help get your problem solved. Checked the compression? Good luck. Quote
sheefreak Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Pilots is exactly where I would start also. If you take them out, spray them w/carb cleaner, then blow compressed air through it, it will be clean! Also, I didn't notice where you are from, but if it is cold, you may want to at least close the airscrews down some, if not go up a size on the pilot. One more thing: Make sure your carb float bowls are on the correct carb, or your choke won't work properly and it will start hard. On the inside bottom of the bowl you should see them labeled 1-1, and 1-2. 1-1 goes on the choke side carb. Good luck! Quote
