peterlocal22 Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 whats up, i have a 1998 banshee frame that i want to powdercoat. theres some rust spots on the frame. now how do i remove the rust before p/cing and wont it come back adventually and ruin the p/c paint job. It seems like painting over a rusty frame would be a bad idea? Quote

bansheefreak Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 get it sandblasted then pc should be ok and normally its thick enough you wont hardly see the pits from the rust.... but i would make sure you sand blast it or maybe even put a da to the area.. need to get rid of rust so pc will bond....
