notch86 Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 I'm planning on getting some new nerf bars soon and I was looking at the ac propegs with heel guards but I thought that I had read somewhere that you can't use them with a -2 swingarm is that right and if so which ones do you recommend Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 I've got the AC Propegs w/heelguards and a cut -2" stock swinger. There's more than enough room to fit up to a 22" tire. I've even had studded 22" rears on with no probs. Quote

Banshee17Racing Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 I had to muscle 'em to get it all lined up with the frame. I really love the heel guards, and the huge pegs rock. I've abused the nerfs quite a bit and I've had to re-weld a cracked bracket and bend them back in to place a few times. One problem I've had is the kick starter hitting the nerfs when trying to kick it. I've actually worn a little bit into the nerfs by hitting it so many times. They don't leave a lot of room for riding boots when kicking...just something to get used to. Quote
