westexgt Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 I have been searching on ebay for a nice set of A-arms for my wife's banshee and came across this set. What do you guys think about the quality from the pictures? And do you know anyone that has a set of these? They look pretty nice, especially the price. Kevin Quote
rocketboy Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 ive heard thsoe are awesome quality a arms and have more adjustability than most do Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 I heard they are made by the same clown that made Ugly arms Quote
rocketboy Posted November 2, 2005 Report Posted November 2, 2005 no they were made in arizona by a guy named charlie who called them quicksilver or something like that ,he was a con and raped his customers and eventually had to sell the co...but to a respectable guy who changed the name to full flight and refined the arms more and hes a totally different management and company from m my understanding ,the a arms are adjustable on top and bottom and are supposed to be really nice for the money as im told Quote
NEVER SATISFIED Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 yuh i heard they were crap!!! but a buddy has them on his z400 and i rode it.. the heims are tight!!! tight like a tiger!! Quote
njbanshee Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I had them on my bike and the sucked. I had them for one ride, took them off and sent them back for my money. The paint sucks too. It scratched off before i even got them on the bike. Buy a set of good used ones if you are looking for a deal. Quote
mattw204 Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 ^^^^^^this guy apparently didnt know how to put them on because i have a pair and they are fine and work well....they are probably the cheapest good quality a-arms you can buy so go ahead and get them....oh and it isnt paint.....its powder coat and its freakin tuff Quote
racer Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 howd you scratch them w/o putting them on? Quote
njbanshee Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Any light touch with a tool and the black "powder coat" comes right off. I say, spend the money and buy a good set of a-arms. Full flight is crap. Sorry if you guys know the builder or something, but i speak the trueth from experience. Quote
