hey guys i am looking to pick up a tm chain slider....whats the biggest front sprocket you can run with one. i thought it was a 15t but i thought i heard someone running a 16t with one.

 

hey while we are on sprockets....what gear ratio should i run with my passion stroker? i was thinking 16-40 but if the slider wont fit, maybe a 15-38??

i ride mostly woods with some quick drags when it gets open.

If your talking about the swingarm slider (the one you have to take the swingarm off to replace with a stock unit), TM's website says it will accomodate 13-17 tooth front sprockets so you should be good with a 16. Are you riding flatter, more open woods. Those sound like tall gears you're pulling, but I ride on the west coast with tight, steep wooded areas, and shorter gearing is preferable.
