scottt89
Sorry, this is not about my Banshee, but with the all around Expertise of the HQ I figured I'd ask. I am changing the front brake lever on my 99 Yz250, I got the main nut out, but I can't figure out how to get the Pin out to remove the cable from the old lever. I know, I have no right working with my hands. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.
Spitfire
What cable? The brake lever is just a bolt/nut that the lever pivots on, and a spring to rebound the lever. Are you changing the clutch lever?
scottt89
I got it thanks for the response Spitfire. I had a bit too much grease on the lever, and didn't see the washer that was stopping the nut on the cable from coming off to slide the lever out.
