I was converting to the late model brakes this weekend, and tried to mount the stock tie rods into the spindle, only to notice that the ball ends were too small and totally wobbled around in the spindle.

 

I spoke with the guy I got the spindles from, and he said that they had some aftermarket beafy setup and apparently they hogged out the holes in the spindle.

 

Here is a pic of what the ends look like:

To me these look totally homemade, and I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas what else I should use, or if these are what people use when they beef up their tie rods.
