sheecrazy Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 hey guys i was wondering is 17cc domes too much compression with a stock crank and am i losing top end rev having those on....I have some 19cc domes that i could throw on. Also if i port my motor would the trinity single carb set-up work Quote
sheefreak Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 17cc domes will be too much if you are around sea level. If you are 3000 ft or above, you can probably get away w/it. At sea level you will be lookong at around 200 psi, which means you definately have to run race fuel also. Porting will bring your compression down some, but I can't tell you to what, also depends on the porting, your builder should be able to help you w/that. Not too sure on the 2 into 1 setup. Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 17's are too small, you will lose top end no matter what elevation. You should have your builder cut you some custom domes for your application Quote
