well , ive bailed out on gettin a banshee about 5 times so far , all for the same dang reason , what kind of land i got to ride on....well im sellin my fourtrax 300 and our boat , both of which are in my name , so i should have around 3 grand...now theres a banshee up at one of our local dealerships for sale but the frame is god uglly , its spraypainted red and yellow , i can afford it tho , theres also a bad ass yz125 for sale at another dealership , its a 2001 but its just got a brand new top end , brand new pipe and shorty silencer i think , and its got aftermarket forks and stuff , its a bad ass little cycle , very clean , very rebuilt! its only 2000 bucks... what the hell should i do , im tall enough to straddle the bike but maybe i figure id get yalls opinions

well, if it were me chosin between the two, I'd get the YZ. Im not ditchin the banshee or anything, but it sounds like the previous owner may have really rode the shit outa it and trashed it or somethin i guess. If you really really want a banshee you will find one in better condition and for a better price if you search hard enough. I found mine in a auto trader mag not to far from where I live for $2400. its a 2001 and in really good shape and came with lots of aftermarket goodies like pipes and other stuff and even extra plastic, tires, stock pipes, etc.

 

Do you have any experience with riding bikes? Cause they can get ya hurt if you cant handle the type of power those 125's put out. you pretty much have to ride fast and stay on the pipe or else they say you foul plugs and shit. I've rode one on the trails and loved it, but i'm kinda a small guy and those bikes are pretty big for me ;) .
