Hi guys,

I know this is not a banshee related question, but thought you guys might be able to help me out.

I have a 1993 Suzuki Quad Runner 300 4x4. Long story short: The engine seized and i would like to get it running again.

I took the cylinder head off, but now the piston wrist pin is stuck, i cannot get it off.

Is their a way to get it off without damaging the connecting rod or the crankshaft?

Any tricks would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Heat the piston with a torch and you should be able to get it out. Also, make sure you take the clips out first.

Thanks, I'll heat it up a bit with a torch and try getting it out. Don't wanna put too much presure on it and bend the connecting rod.

Just heat the piston and keep the heat away from the wristpin. It should slide right out.
