i have t-6 pipes with i beleive a dynojet needle...not sure , whatever came with the pipes, i heard somewhere to put my stock needles back on, have you guys heard about this, also where do i put the clip,one more question, how can i tell if i'm too lean or to rich,by looking at my plugs.

Yes. The Dynojet needles are said to be Blaster needles repackaged. I'm not sure why or what they feel helps by using that needle, but I've come across a lot of peeps that had a hard time jetting Toomey pipes and it all boiled down to that needle. They put the stocker back in and it went back to normal. I say, put the stocker back in. No reason to change needles unless there's a problem with the one that's in it.

Not sure on your mods, but an easy thing to do is to put it in the 3rd (middle) clip and see how it runs. Then, richen it one by putting the clip in the 4th (one below the middle, which would raise the needle up higher) and see if it's better or worse. If it's better good, if not, go back to third. You'd be looking for more response, maybe a harder hit coming into the power, or it might start sputtering some telling you it's too rich. If it's sputtery in the third, then back it off one, by raising the clip one notch, which would lower the needle down more.

 

one more question, how can i tell if i'm too lean or to rich,by looking at my plugs.
