belray h1r oil at 40to 1?

i have a stock banshee and i run the belray h1r at 40to1 ratio oil mixture...a man from belray reccommended that ratio....it still smokes alot but runs better than the previous oilbrand and ratio....the quad will have oil all around the tailpipes after one short ten minute ride....please help a rookie.

Thats the ratio thats on the back of the box, but I run mine 32:1. You should be fine with 40:1 thou.

Yea your right it says 30:1 to 50:1, the old bottles said 40:1 to 42:1. The 1st number is how many parts gas your putting in and the 2nd number is how many parts oil your putting into the gas. More oil = cooler temp. = more power.

I mix mine 50:1, the less oil you mix in, the more power you will make but your engine will wear more. The more oil you put in, the longer your engine will last but you wont make as much power. 50:1 is the limit, any leaner and you may damage your engine but you can mix it richer. Mixing 32:1 to me is a little rich on the oil but i guess it is just a matter of preference.

40:1 is a perfect ratio imo. The little bit of oil coming from your tail pipes is completey normal, welcome to the 2 stroke world
