Hey guys newbie here, great site, ya'll have some sweet rides. Anyways, I just bought my first banshee, actually first atv ever and had a quick question. My banshee is pretty much stock, it has boysen reeds, and a K&N, I am heading to the dunes in a couple of weeks, and wanted to pick up some paddles. Does my mostly stock banshee have enough power for paddles, and if so what would you reccomend. Also, any other must haves for the dunes. Thanks for your help.

WELCOME TO THE BHQ!!!

depends how much ya wanna spend.. a nice set of skat traks is always the best compliment to a banshee in the dunes.. thats if price isnt a issue... otherwise you can get a set of sand sharks for 150 bucks with rims shipped to your door..

i have a set of sand skate 2's for sale if you want to buy them.. they are 20x11x8 on wheels.. sell em to ya for 80 bucks plus shipping.. great condition.. let me know if you want a pic

If you're planning on modding the shee soon or if you buy some paddles and it seems to be lugging then you can swap the tires and run the paddles backwards. I'd avoid geckos since they're about as good in the sand as a fresh set of knobbies. Look at the sand stars, drop 1 tooth on your front gear, and you should be fine.
