I dont know why my shee keeps back firing when i start it up, after it gets warm it stops and runs like a champ, its when it starts....i dont think i have an air leak, and i know that it is not running lean, im running amsoil 32-1, im woundering if your guys have ne ideas, or if you banshees do this too?

Even though this would probably be better suited in the ...Banshee Repairs and Mods section, I'll say check your reeds.

I agree...cracked reeds can cause this. I'd double check for air leaks, just when you start it spray some carb cleaner around your intake boots & see if shee revs or not. Other than that, could be something electrical, or timing....bad stator will cause some backfiring(personal experience), and too far of a timing advance could give you some fits. It's weird that it runs ok after a while though. :shrugani:
