sweetshee4312 Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I dont know why my shee keeps back firing when i start it up, after it gets warm it stops and runs like a champ, its when it starts....i dont think i have an air leak, and i know that it is not running lean, im running amsoil 32-1, im woundering if your guys have ne ideas, or if you banshees do this too? ledofthezep Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I agree...cracked reeds can cause this. I'd double check for air leaks, just when you start it spray some carb cleaner around your intake boots & see if shee revs or not. Other than that, could be something electrical, or timing....bad stator will cause some backfiring(personal experience), and too far of a timing advance could give you some fits. It's weird that it runs ok after a while though. Quote
