dawgfan Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I just got my 450 shocks ready to mount on my Shee, just waiting for some new a-arm bushings. What is a good place to start as far as fine tuning the for my weight? I weigh 170lbs. I bought them used so I have no idea what type of rider they were set for, or if they are still at factory settings. Do I need to go to a lower profile tire to make up for the extra shock length so my front end isn't up in the air? Thanks Quote
NYCBanshee7 Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 First off, they are going to be alot stiffer than the stock banshee shocks. I'm the same weight as you, so I backed out all of the preload. This helped alot. Then you yourself can mess with the Compression and rebound. Quote
DallasGDub Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 I will piggy back on this old ass thread......lol Whats what on the shocks? I have 04's and not sure what screws do what. Quote
DallasGDub Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Perfect...thx man. I am going to turn everything counterclockwise and start my adjustments from that point. I am about 155lbs so should not take to long to get dialed in. Quote
