05bansh Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 I installed my new Cascade radiator the other day. I noticed when I installed the hoses for the top and bottom outlets on the radiator the outlets are a little smaller than the factory radiator. Does anyone know of any stainless hoses that are made? RNBRAD Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 So you bought the Cascade unit aye? Good choice btw. Yea the regular automotive size heater hose should work fine. Their is plenty of stainless steel hose manufacturers of the stuff. I used flexikool. Quote
Big Blue Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 where did you get your flexicool from? Quote
RNBRAD Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 where did you get your flexicool from? 358039[/snapback] Off of Ebay, from a place autoparts4less, something like that. Very reasonable compared to any other places I checked. Well worth the money and they work fantastic and look killer. Quote

You will only use one line so you will have a spare if anything ever happens. I see these kits going upwards of 100 to 150 and more. It pays to shop around. I know I paid too much for the ones on my truck. I may also get the cascade rad soon, man they look good. I want it and an aluminum fuel tank. Quote
racer Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 ive heard that those bigger rads cool so well that some people block off a portion of it during the winter to reach an acceptable water temperature. thats a problem i wouldnt mind. Quote
