Timing advance

what kindve advance should i do with my mods?  who sells timing keys too?

will i have to do any re jetting?

Just mod your stock timing plate. You'll want to extend the holes to the left, allowing you to rotated the plate clockwise. 1mm of rotation = 1 degree of advance, so you'll want to rotate it 5 or 6 degrees.

 

You can search for modding timing plate or something similar and find pics and all kinds of info, plus IT"S FREE and safer than a key.

I measured my ricky stator plate and it was 4.5mm for 4 degrees. That's a good base for the banshee. YOu can cut the screw slots on the stator plate 4.5 mm and get the advance for free. Ricky Stator plates are only $35 and you can see how much advance you have.

Thanks guys, one more thing where do i get the ricky stator plates at?

On an old post some guy was running +8, with octane boost, couldnt i run somewhere close to that with turbo blue, its usualy between 105-110
