decon Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 i was reading some posts on the forums a while back from the SoCal fabshop thread. i seen the people that did the 250r front geometry to the banshee. I was interested in it because everyone knows the banshees dont handle well. only thing i dont like about it is that you gotta pay for the frame fabrication and a long travel setup, and thats quite alot of money. what im thinking, is it possible to modify a banshee frame w/o having to spend extra money on long travel? i was thinking this by just rakeing the front end but not narrowing it. what i mean by rake is just like 250r frame, how the front is angled going upward. does anyone know if it would be possible to rake the front end of a banshee that it would handle better?or would you have to narrow it also. because I think that is a reason the 250r handles so well. the 250r being narrow just alows it to have long travel, so not having the narrow front for LT and just the rake in front I was thinking to myself would it work? I dont know how many inches you would have to angle the front end, 2-3 off the ground? Quote
racer Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 it might ride smoother, but since youre gonna be cuttin anyways your wasting your time by not narrowing it. Quote
