97banshee350 Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 theres oil leaking from my shifter shaft seal, how much do you think it would cost to have it replaces by a dealer or have any of you done it before? also is it hard to put in a clutch kit? Quote
racer Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 shifter shaft seals are easy. a real DIY project. simply remove the countersprocket to gain access. after that screw a drywall srew into the seal itself, carefully avoiding the case. after its in tight pull it out gently with some pliers. then softly tap the new one into place.
