NugShee Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 Ok guys I have the basics of what rebound is. If Im correct then it is how fast the shock returns to its normal length after being depressed. Am I correct? Ive never messed with the stock shocks but noticed that there is an adjustment on them. What would be best for the dunes? My girlfriend rides a blaster and that thing will about beat you to death out there. I think the blaster also has the adjustment on there so how do I do it guys. Do I need more rebound or less? should the shock have more spring to it for rougher terrain like that or be stiffer? Thanks again for any help you can give me Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 rebound is what you said. how long it takes to get back to the normal length. the faster the rebound the better it is for just fooling around and hitting some small jumps. slow rebound would be for alot of air and such Quote
Meat Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Nug, neither the Banshee nor the Blaster have any rebound adjusters on thier front shocks, but the Banshee does have rebound adjustment on its rear shock, im not sure if the Blaster's rear is rebound adjustable. The rebound adjuster is found at the bottom of the shock. Quote

Its basically a sleve on the shock itself with a few diferent adjustments on it. I tried to turn it but coudlnt get it to turn so I gave up before I broke something. Does this do nothing? Quote
