Capone Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Before my current problem, described at website below, I had a constant problem with my clutch. When ever I adjusted the clutch lever adjustment, I would take it in, and it would be great on the low end, and slip in the powerband, when I would take the screw out, it would hit powerband great, but when I pulled clutch to stop, my shee would just keep rolling. I could never get it just perfect, it was one or the other... I was wondering if the groves in my clutch basket's fingers would cause this? I'm going to order one of the billet baskets from magic racing, but I just want to make sure this could be the culprit. I don't want to spend the money on something thats not definate. Here's pictures of my clutch basket: http://blueshee03.tripod.com/clutch/rezs.htm also, thanks to 99screaminshee for pointing those groves out for me, I totally overlooked them. Thanks! Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 (edited) Those pictures show you inner clutch hub too, not just the clutch basket, chances are the grooves in the basket are not your adjustment issue....More than likely the ball & rod were not adjusted correctly.
