jetting a very stock motor

i cant seem to find anything quite like i have on here. so here's what i got. got VF2's, and a toomey 2:1 filter with the uni. so where do i need to be on the jets? stock carbs, stock pipes.

As always it is different for elevations and temps, but i would start at 3 sizes up on main, move clip down 1 notch (raise needle), this will get you close, run it for a plug check and see how she runs.

We need more info, but here is what I had with stock shee no airbox lid, temp 75 farenheight, 1000 feet from sea level:

 

280 mains, needle in stock 3rd clip position, 25 stock pilots, airscrews 1 1/2 turns from seated.

 

 

You have VF2 and no air box so probably you can try 280 mains if conditions are similar to what I listed. It may be a good strating point.

yeah sorry guys for nto including that. but richy, your conditions were identical to mine. 1000-1100ft and 75 ish. ive got 260's in there now, but i wanted to be sure.

That sounds about right!!!! Whats the clip at? And what do the plugs look like now?
