trail rider Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Has anybody here used or know anything about the kenda dirt dog tires? I tried posting this in the review forums but I dont think anybody even goes there . They look like they would hook up good on the trails and hill climbs ( thats where I ride ) Would they be very good at sliding, like in a grass field or something? Would they throw good roost? Quote
trail rider Posted March 10, 2005 Author Report Posted March 10, 2005 does anyone even know what im talking about? The tread is like a cheveron/ tractor type lug with knobs on the side. Another tire that looks like it is the carlisle power trac II. Its used for lawn mowers and other equipment. The only thing though is that I would have to get a 8 inch rim cause thats the only size they come in. Would these tires hook up good in dirt drags and on trails and hills and stuff?? Heres a link if you want a pic. http://www.gallaghertire.com/carlisle/powertrac.html Quote

trail rider Posted March 12, 2005 Author Report Posted March 12, 2005 what about those carlisle power trac II tires? I can get a set really cheap at this tire place and I would like to try em out, I think they look pretty cool. My cousin has those tires on one of his grasshopper mowers, he does commerical mowing. I've mowed sideways on some pretty steep hills and those tires really hold up pretty good. They dig like nothing else in grass and dirt and stuff, but I guess its kinda hard to compare using them on the banshee, seein how there's a pretty big weight difference between a mower and a quad.
