|PHX|_-^FueL^-_ Posted February 20, 2005 Report Share Posted February 20, 2005 just wanting to know how to lean out my carbs can any one help and which way to turn the air/fuel mixture screw. it seems to be giving to much fuel. from idle if you push the throdle it bogs for asec. then revs nicely. once you get the rpms up just a little over idle its fine justs seem to be to rich and smokes just a bit not real bad Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Flyin_Shee Posted February 20, 2005 Report Share Posted February 20, 2005 Move your needle clip up a notch or two, check what pilot jet you are running and go down a size or two on your main if it's running rich. Make sure to do a plug chop to see where you're at for jetting in the different ranges. Also, your air screw should be at 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 turns out depending on what you're running. What are your mods?
