i12gofast Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 After much debate b/t me and the other guys I ride with, we have still yet to decide the best location for the 3/8 " Vitos reed spacers for my 2001 shee. Currently i have them installed between the intake manifold and the reed cage, while some guys think its better to install them between the reed cage and the jug. Still a few guys think it doesnt matter. Any help? Quote
Blacksmith Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 As there is solid theory for putting the spacers in either locations, I would have to fall in the "does not matter" camp. Perhaps someone has done some dyno testing on this issue, but if so I have not seen it. I am pretty convinced that they are pretty much like a boost bottle in that they only change the movement length for the pulse wave created by 2 stroke motors and as such will sometimes help, sometimes hurt and mosttimes not effect performance. Anyway, that is my $.02 Quote
racer Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 i dont think it matters either. cool login by the way Quote
