97banshee350 Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 i have fmf fatty's and there like completly redish orange from rust. do you know of any way to get it off or maybe at least get rid of some of it? also do you have any ideas how much chroming would cost to get them chromed if they had already been sand blasted? If it's real bad, get some 00 wool and then rub it down, then get 0000 wool to smooth them out. Chroming costs are a lot different in various parts of the country. Here, maybe $100 to 150, other places, maybe up to $200, and that would probably include the sand blasting. Ceramic coating is another option, and Jet-Hot would do it for maybe $150. Quote
