banshee_rider95 Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 i knew that my bearings in my swingarm needed replaced it was a lil loose. well that was before college. Well needless to say my brother has been riding it with out me knowing.......Here is the problem......i cant get my swingarm off!!!!!!!!!!! i cant get the pin out, i have had it out before but it wont come out....i think that it might be bent im not sure. how in the hell do i get it out. im about to just take the torch to the swingarm and cut the damn thing off. O and the bearings put grooves in the pin....can anybody help me out?????? Quote
Wallrat Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 soak the bastard in some kind of penetrating oil...Kroil is my favorite. Put the nut on so its even with the end of the threads and give it a few raps with BFH. Then soak the hell out of it again. Keep repeating about every 20 min or so. Before cutting it out as a last resort I'd try just heating the bolt with a torch. I believe this will ruin the bolt tho so... Quote
