Getting shocks in couple months... got my mind set to TCS triple rates, but im deciding should I go no reservoirs or reservoirs. Got a really good deal on TCS Triple Rate w/ Compression Adjust. Are the reservoirs worth it for the dunes. Would I ever adjust my compression and what does compression do ? I know if I get reservoirs my shocks wil stay cooler and will last longer.

Sounds like you understand the reservoirs. It depends how hard of a rider you are. You have to beat shocks pretty bad to make the reservoir work right then. It will make the oil last longer. Even if it save you one rebuild, they reservoirs will pay for themselves. Most companies charge $100 to $150 for reservoirs as far as I know. But, you may not need them. If you ride harder than the group you hang with, get the reservoirs. If you find yourselves staying with a group.. you probably don't need them unless you think there slow... :headbang:

In order to get the comp adjustability from TCS you must have the reservoirs. Plus they seperate the nitrogen from the shock oil, providing a more precise valving curve and keep the oil cooler prolonging it's life and preventing "fade"

Having all the adjustment you can is always a good thing IMO. I know that there are times I wanna cruise slow and I don't want to feel every bump on the trail so I'll soften up my ride. Other times I'm trying to see if I can meet God off of a lip and I need that extra bit of cush to keep from having a vinyl seat up my ass.
