Justintoxicated Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 (edited) Well I got this new grease gun which broke 3 of my gease zerks trying to detach it form the zerks... Took it back to the store and they gave me a replacement which works fine... Anyways, I bought some new zerks from kragen for $5 the only metric ones they sell and they do not fit,.... so I guess the Banshees stock A-arm Zerks are not 6mm? What the hell are they then? Are they using some sorta special thread size? Please help, need to ride! Edited December 13, 2004 by Justintoxicated Quote
racer Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 mine mic'd out at 6mm. but they seemed awfully loose in a 6mm socket. they wouldnt fit in a 5mm socket, so are they possibly a 5.5mm size? and they are the course thread. Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 Dude!....my grease gun did the same damn thing to my zerks. I've been wondering if I was being a retard, or if it was the gun. They gave you a whole new gun? I went to the stealership to replace the zerks, don't remember the size...but they were about $2-3 a piece, and I didn't have any other choice locally. Quote

Damnit I don't wanna spend that much on ZERKS! Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 So the "industrial attachment" works perfectly fine with the same gun? I really need to look into this... Quote
