Increase compression and advance timing. Port and polish job while you have it apart.

Well theres more than one way to do each mod. For increase in compression, you can get the stock head milled for around 60 to 100 dollars. You can buy an aftermarket aluminum head with interchangeable domes for around 200, these offer better cooling also. For timing advance you can get a degree key which has a set degree of advance for around 10 dollars, or you could opt for an adjustable timing plate ranging from 35 for a cast unit to 60-70 bucks for a billet unit. Port and polish jobs range from 200 to 600 depending on who does it and what kind of porting they do. Type of porting depends on your riding style. Mild port around 200 to full drag port around 600. Best bang for the buck is compression and timing advance. Best mod overall is port and polish with pipes a close 2nd.
