does anyone know a good place to powdercoat in ny/nj

 

ive called about 4 places and the cheapest i have found is about 450 sand blasted and all...anyplace any cheaper?

 

at this rate i think i will just assemple the shee without the coated frame

You're in the same boat I was from the sounds of it, wound up having mine sprayed professionally with auto paint, just blasted, gussetted, sealed & primered, then a couple coats of paint & a couple coats of clear...has held up 100times better than I figured it would. I blast a lot of pastures & the clear hasn't even started to chip yet. :cheers: Had I had the money, I would have went ahead & got it coated....but being born a poor black child I was not able to dish out the money. :shrugani:

There is a place here in Bartlesville that only charges $85 to blast and PC frames.

 

If anyone around here is ever interested just e-mail me, and I'll hook you up.

i plan on going with a candy blue with black plastics.once again thanks

 

 

i hope to have it there tomorrow but i cant seem to remove my steering stem and tie rods...any tips?
